Sleepless in the terminal

Part of launching a new campaign is to attract new customers and winning back old customers to make them buy again. Here is Nescafe’s new product launch back in 2014. To maintain the buzz, one of the strategies is to dress up several terminals from Metro Manila to Pampanga to Quezon.

One might as, “Why a bus terminal?” It’s simple, really. What is coffee’s most prominent feature? To energize and keep its drinker from a shut eye. Now, where will you find people needing energy and be kept awake? Terminals. Provincial bus terminals to be precise.

Here we see the clever way Nescafe Philippines has pinpointed their target audience’s location. There’s no need to group them, they are already there. All they had to do is put the product out.
